When we began working on this report, the term 'polycrisis' seemed like a buzzword. But as we delved deeper, we realized it was the reality our communities have long endured. What's labeled a 'new' idea in the developed world is a persistent, overlapping storm we've been navigating. However, what's different about today's context though is the advent of the Anthropocene (an era shaped by human activity). We're entering into an uncertain future where climate change is a reality. Our report offers an Indian lens on the subject. We also explore how philanthropy can radically shift from being about giving, to sharing, through power-shifting processes. Difference between two schools. "ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE WORLD WHO ARE FACING SHORTAGE OF RESOURCES. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO WASTE. The old German ladies gave this stern reply to one of colleagues of Tatas when they left one third of the food in a plate in a German restaurant. But, Indians do not mind splurging money like anything as per their status. We witnessed the same recently when super-super elites across the continents converged at Ambani-son weddind & even all time enemies also congregated keeping aside rivalry. The wedding was epitomised crossing all barriers and also strengthened the philosophy - my money gives right to do anything as per my wishes. Here is a question - Whether wasteful expenditure ought to be checked in a larger interest. Have you ever seen Tatas indulging in this sort of mammonth wasteful extravaganza. Ironically, it had the backing of top political echelon. Tatas have been donating more than this annually across the globe but they do not beat the drums. This is the biggest difference between the two mindsets. India blessed with human properties are actually suffering from shortage of means/resources. Bharat needs to learn proper utilisation of its natural resources. If population of Bharat is put into juxtaposition with its available resources then we will slide below Bangladesh. The truth is bitter. Bharatiya needs to change or revamp their mindset.

World wide 690 million people go to bed hungry, including 189.2 million in India. On Earth, people fight to feed themselves and their children. With enough food to feed everyone, 690 million people go to bed hungry, including 189.2 million in India. Malnutrition caused 69 per cent of child deaths in India in 2019-20. The pandemic exacerbated the crisis, revealing India’s stern inequality. Key flagship projects failing to deliver due to administrative constraints at different levels intensifies the problem further. The policy formulation-implementation gap results in low social performance. Complexity and micro-level participation are needed to end hunger in India. The aim should be to learn from past errors and promote measures that enhance equitable access to food, relieving millions of India’s hungry. With ample resources at the helm, we need to invest money and people wisely. Governments, NGOs, people, and communities must all work together. Everyone has a moral, if not legal, obligation to ensure that no one goes to bed with an empty stomach when there is enough food for all. #anumeenacare #nonprofits #hunger #people #hungerindia #fact #new

Indian boxer Vijender Singh, commenting on the disappointing performance of Indian boxers at the Paris Olympics said we need to end “Chaplusi” in Indian #Sports & Sports Federations so best players can emerge & win medals for the country. We often hear statements from politicians that people have elected us so we are free to govern. Inherent in the vote is the expectation that elected representatives will govern responsibly to improve the lot of the people. As a life long student of marketing, I don’t buy hype created through media & PR. Amar, Akbar, Anthony or Singh, whoever is elected at the end of the day only “deliverables” matter even with all the governance constraints. However, many have managed to setup well established “dukaans” with little deliverables to show. Their only focus seems to be to protect & further their interests using all means & their well cultivated image with welfare of voters talked about at the time of elections. Honestly, how many of our elected representatives live up to people’s expectations? UN Product Prashant Kishor, who earned his spurs with the successful election campaign of Modi ji in 2014, wants to change Bihar with his Jan Suraaj. Still smarting from the 2024 election prediction debacle he is attempting sarcasm & stirring up Bihar politics with very harsh statements against a political opponent. He also says it is very easy to sit abroad & comment that everyone is corrupt & attach motives. As a responsible citizen, I usually make generic comments with no names except Modi ji’s because even if the captain is not corrupt, he is responsible for his team & all that happens under his watch. The buck stops with the head of the executive, the Prime Minister. Gaao Hamarey Gaaney, Warna Tum Ho Begaane… Chaplusi humney kabhi ki nahi, hamey aati nahi... When life has given you gifts you ought to use them in the service of the common good. When life has imposed limits on action, the least one can do is to talk. Commentary band nahi hogi... Koshish karengey fair & balanced criticism karney ki.

Number of Political Parties in India growing Faster than the Economy!!! There are numerous political parties and leaders in India. In comparison to the number of job creators, business owners, and actual country builders. That is why our Indian nation is not thriving or rising as rapidly as it could. All politicians are stealing the country through party finances, donations, and taxes.

BCCI earns billions of dollars from IPL. What do they give back to Indian society apart from entertainment? CSR rules should be made compulsory for them. 5% of total profit should be spent on such initiatives. Modiji make this a compulsion and if BCCI makes fudging of accounts to show losses then fine them with 1 billion dollars per season. All these funds should be used in CSR activities. IPL is second largest event in the world and they have their social responsibility also. They should plant millions of local trees to make India green..all these stars of IPL busy in Gutkha advt should be ashamed of themselves promoting Gutkha. what they contribute for betterment of society? Nothing. Shame on you guys.. We need more trees than IPL and Gutkha. We must plant it now so this rainy season it will have some life to grow. Modiji make an appeal in current election campaign. One Vote One Tree.
