How one can Help the #Pochampally Weavers? There are a number of things that can be done to help the Pochampally weavers. One is to promote the sale of Pochampally sarees. This can be done by organizing exhibitions and fairs, and by making Pochampally sarees more accessible to buyers through online platforms. Another way to help the weavers is to provide them with financial assistance. This can be done through government schemes or through the support of non-profit organizations. Weavers can also be trained in new skills, such as marketing and design, to help them improve their businesses. By taking these steps, one can help to ensure that the Pochampally weavers industry continues to thrive and that the traditional weaving skills are passed on to future generations. Here are some specific things one can do: • Buy Pochampally sarees from authorized sellers. • Promote Pochampally sarees on social media and other platforms. • Donate to organizations that support the Pochampally weavers. • Encourage the younger generation to learn the traditional weaving skills. By taking these actions, one can help to preserve this important part of India's cultural heritage. what's is your take on this??? #VVISM Dr. Shivani Tyagi | Godson Samuel | Dr. Ritu Kothiwal | Sai Krishna kondaipally | Dharmender Gogikar | Yash Jodhani | Chaitanya Kalidindi | Mohammed Nawaz | Juhi Nathani | Prahlad Kulkarni | Vrinda Nair | Sai Likhitha KVN | Molleti Teja |

INDUSTRIAL VISIT Buy from a weaver rather than a vender!!! We went to Pochampally to learn more about the textile sector. We have observed all three ikat variations: single, double, and mixed. As customers, we never see the manufacturer's labour of love. A saree, meanwhile, takes 15 days to a month to create. For decades, the Pochampally community has dedicated their entire families to this job. A weaver also shared a brief story, saying that he and his family work on a single saree for 15 days, and in a month they can make up to 25k, which is not much for a four-person family. However, this is possible because the merchant is buying from the manufacturer at a lower price, and they are profiting from that. Additionally, because of this, the manufacturers push their kids towards professions like IT, where they may earn more money. Thus, let's purchase from the manufacturer rather than the merchant! #industrialvisit #weavers #newlearnings VISHWA VISHWANI SCHOOL OF BUSINESS Lakshman Kumar (Dr.YLK) pushpa latha Sai Krishna kondaipally Chaitanya Kalidindi Dr. AH M IFTEKHAR NISAR
