It's time to take a proactive approach that places both compliance and quality at the core of brand operations within the #SupplyChain. QIMA's Dory Lanenter, Senior Business Development and Sales Manager, is featured in Supply Chain Management Review Magazine, discussing heightened environmental consciousness and social awareness, both from consumer and regulatory aspects, global brands currently face - a level of demand and scrutiny for products that not only meet levels of global regulations and compliance, but also exceed ethical and sustainability visions of the consumer. Developing products that go beyond the bare minimum is now an essential element of a brand’s integrity in the eyes of most customers in all markets. The influence of compliance on #BrandCredibility is highlighted by the growing role of influencers who can very easily applaud brands for their commitment to sustainability and meeting compliance and ethical levels. However, the negative repercussions resulting when #influencers identify gaps between a brand’s compliance claims and reality can dramatically change the landscape. Dear Connections, I am thrilled to announce about my publication titled "Influencer Marketing & Sustainable Brand Awareness: Consumer Behaviour for FMCG Products", at International Conference on Management Research (ICMR'2023), organized by the Department of Management Studies - DoMS, IIT Madras. My research delved deeply into the intriguing and relatively untapped world of Influencer Marketing, focusing on the intricate details of influencer attributes and their significant impact on consumer buying behaviour within the FMCG sector. The research examined delves into the profound influence of various celebrity attributes on consumer attitudes, revealing that authenticity and relatability are pivotal drivers that substantially shape consumer attitudes, perceptions, and decision-making processes regarding FMCG products. This comprehensive analysis not only highlights the importance of influencer marketing in enhancing brand recall and consumer engagement but also provides valuable insights into how companies can leverage these strategies to achieve long-term success and market dominance. Excited to share the culmination of months of research and hard work!  My dissertation, titled "How Instagram Macro Influencers Affect Gen Z's Purchase Intentions: A Study on the Skincare Industry," delves into the fascinating intersection of social media influence and consumer behavior. Through an in-depth exploration, I analyzed the dynamic relationship between Instagram macro influencers and the purchasing decisions of Gen Z in the skincare sector. The study sheds light on how these influencers shape perceptions, preferences, and ultimately, the choices made by the younger demographic. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my mentor and guide, Dr. Kavitha Iyer and Dr Nirupama Patwardhan, for their support and guidance throughout this academic journey.
