Ukraine is advancing in the development of renewable energy. A new strategy for the development and implementation of #RenewableEnergy in Ukraine, grounded in scientific research and innovative technologies, has been unveiled. This strategy aims to ensure safe and environmentally friendly utilization of renewable energy sources. Analysis of #solar, #wind, and #hydro energy usage, taking into account the peculiarities of Ukraine's natural conditions, has revealed new opportunities. For the first time, the utilization of water surfaces in the lakes of Preddniprovia, as well as the bays of Jarilgach and Tendrivsky estuary, is proposed for the establishment of solar and wind power stations. Additionally, technology for producing #GreenHydrogen using Dnipro River waters has been considered. These innovative initiatives, along with the utilization of natural resources, have the potential to make #Ukraine a key producer of renewable energy, satisfying both domestic and European needs in the #energy market. The publication is prepared with the support and endorsement of the Energy Association «UKRAINIAN HYDROGEN COUNCIL», indicating the importance of these initiatives for the future energy development of Ukraine. We invite you to read the publication on our website: https://lnkd.in/eeEiPvNv #UkrainainHydrogenCouncil #hydrogen #renewables #publication

On the eve of the full-scale war, Ukraine's prospects in the development of renewable energy were among the most attractive in the world. In 2019, Ukraine ranked 8th out of 104 countries in the "Climatescope" ranking for investment attractiveness in the development of low-carbon energy sources and the construction of a "green" economy. In 2020, our country entered the top 5 European countries in terms of the development pace of solar energy. The pre-war energy strategy anticipated that by 2035, "green" energy should supply 25% of Ukraine's needs. The Atlas Volovets Energy project plays a vital role in Ukraine's pursuit of energy independence. We will keep you updated on the progress of constructing a wind farm in Zakarpattia, which promises to become the most powerful source of renewable energy in the western part of the country. Our mission is to bring Ukraine closer to full energy independence, providing the population with accessible, safe, and renewable energy. Follow and join us on this journey!

Exciting developments are occurring in the European wind energy market during Germany's green transition. Chinese-made turbines are set to make a significant impact in Germany's push for renewable energy. The German wind farm developer Luxcara will obtain 16 turbines (each storing a capacity of 18.5 MW) for their Waterkant project. The electricity generated by these turbines will power 400,000 households in Germany. MingYang Smart Energy will supply Luxcara with these turbines and if things go according to plan, Germany will be able to meet its target of generating 80% of its energy demand from renewable sources. What do you make of this development? Will China become a major player in EU renewable energy initiatives? #powerheads #powerengineering #engineering #engineeringforum #students #engineeringstudent #engineering #engineers #energynews #renewableenergy #china #turbines #germany #eu #mingyang #luxcara #waterkantproject #mingyangsmartenergy
