Another wet summer weekend in Greater Toronto . . . and another challenging (yet opportunistic) Monday a.m. evaluating #waterusage from clients (primarily #managers of #condominiums) that have not adopted #weatherbased #irrigation for their lawns and gardens ✅ While many are raising alarm bells over the as-built environment (man made) and its inability to handle water surges like we saw on Saturday other are... ☑ carrying on oblivious to the fact their "set it and forget it" irrigation systems operated business as usual on Saturday and Sunday adding water to already soaked lawns, gardens and flowerbeds . . . #education is key and owners / managers need to understand there are cost effective options that a. will save them #money and; b. prevent them from over-watering soil / grass / lawns that enable them to absorb / retain natural precipitation and less surge on our #stormsewers Its not 🚀 rocket science but it does require an open mind and the catalyst to want to save some $ and do your part in managing #water in our connected environment... #grateful for existing clients that have seen the light and are doing their part Looking forward to the opportunity to #educate and inform others and to continue to evangelize the role our partners SMART Watering Systems can play in adopting best practices and common sense to their #water #budget
