🧑🏫 👉 🧑💼From Academia to Industry: Acellera's PepTalks Acellera has roots in academia, and this foundation shapes how we work together today. Our initiative, PepTalks, reflects our commitment to learning and collaboration. Each week, a different team member leads the session by sharing the progress achieved in their recent work or research insights. The presentation is followed by a group debate, echoing the open discussions common in academia. Our Approach: 🧑🔬 Research-Driven: Discussions at PepTalks are inspired by the depth and openness of academic seminars, pushing us to think critically and innovate. 📖 Continuous Learning: Like academia, we see value in ongoing education and growth, with each session offering new learning opportunities. 🤝 Open Exchange: Our culture encourages sharing and values every voice, aiming to be as inclusive as the academic forums many of us came from. The Outcome: Blending academic principles with our industry goals has helped us grow and brought us closer as a team. It shows how integrating academic ways of thinking can enrich a workplace, encouraging innovation and a strong team spirit. Your Experiences? We'd love to hear from others at the intersection of academia and industry. * Does your company have roots in academia? * How do you use academic principles to foster innovation and teamwork? Sharing your approaches to creating an open, collaborative environment could offer new insights and help us all learn from each other. #Acellera #Learning #Teamwork #Collaboration #ShareYourExperience

What an insightful session at Pharma Incubation Hub yesterday. The key note speaker Pharm. Blessing Abai Sunday extensively discussed on Personal Development: Building Character, Confidence and Authenticity. The major highlights from the webinar include 1) Personal development is a lifelong journey to becoming a better version of yourself. It is not always for perfection, but a work in progress. 2) Some of the characters needed for personal development include strength, resilience and optimism. 3) The how's of personal development include building certifications, taking courses, volunteering, and signing up for mentorships. 4) Authenticity implies you stay true to your value. It helps you embrace individuality. 5) Building confidence comes from depth; it comes from what you know. Confidence pushes you to discover knowledge gaps. 6) Have a defined purpose. It is hard to help someone who hasn't figured out what they want out of life. Knowing purpose helps you to streamline distractions. It also helps you streamline your friends and mentors. Learn to leverage on the experience of your mentors. It was really a great privilege learning from such a distinguished speaker like Pharm. Blessing Abai Sunday. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. You've challenged me to be a better version of myself and yes, I'm on that journey. #pharmaincubationhub

I joined Biogen as a recent graduate in 2020 (what a year to begin your first career!). Just recently, I celebrated my 4th #workiversary 🎉 and I've been reflecting on all I've learned during this time. I've found that there are a few essential practices I've put into place everyday to be successful, grow my network, and embrace continuous learning. 1) Ask questions 🤔: When you don't know where to begin, ask for help and you'll be better prepared for next time. Saying "I don't know" is okay, as long as you follow up with, "let me find that out though". 2) Take time to get to know your colleagues 📞: In a globally connected world, it is more important than ever to establish connections and grow your network. Setup virtual coffee talks, in-person lunches (if possible), make yourself available! 3) Seek developmental opportunities 🧑🏫: Join professional development seminars, take leadership courses, ask to shadow, and even offer to help where possible. This allows you to continue learning, expand your skillset, and make you more marketable. I've put these practices into place since day 1 and they've proven to be nothing but beneficial for me. I'm beyond grateful to those who have allowed me the space to ask questions, the people I've met who have played an integral role in the start of my career journey, and the opportunities Biogen has given me to grow professionally.

🇪🇺These days we had the opportunity to represent Romania at EIT I-Days Semifinals, a competition for innovation in medicine. This was possible with the support of the European Union and we think it is so relevant especially in the political context nowdays, to talk about these benefits. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀, 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆, 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨. For students like us, the EU isn’t just about politics; it’s about real opportunities. It’s about access to funding, education, and events like this one that help us grow, connect, and make a difference. This is about more than just one event—it’s about what kind of future we want to build, together. 🇪🇺 Special thanks to EIT Health for the excelent event and to Alina Forray for organizing the Cluj-Napoca I-Days!
