🌍💡 Innovating Sustainability: Introducing Ecolife Bottles 💡🌍 As part of our Entrepreneurial Development Studies (EDS) assignment given to us this semester at Covenant University, my team and I from the Chemical Engineering Department embarked on a mission to solve a critical global challenge—plastic waste. The result? Ecolife Bottles: a groundbreaking initiative that transforms biodegradable waste into sustainable plastic bottles using advanced biotechnology. This project reflects our commitment to driving sustainable development while applying innovative chemical engineering principles to real-world problems. Our aim is to reduce plastic pollution, promote a circular economy, and inspire others to think creatively about how we can turn waste into wealth. I am deeply grateful to Covenant University, the Covenant University Center for Entrepreneurial Development Studies (CEDS) for such a platform to bring our idea to fruition, and my incredible lecturers, Oluwakemi Onayemi (PhD) and Mrs.Deborah Aka, for their invaluable guidance and support throughout this journey. Your mentorship has been instrumental in shaping this vision into reality. Together, we are proving that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand. Let's continue to challenge the status quo and build a greener, more sustainable future! 🌱✨ #Sustainability #ChemicalEngineering #Innovation #EcolifeBottles #Entrepreneurship #Biotechnology #CovenantUniversity #CEDS

🚀 New Publication Alert! 🌱 I'm excited to share our latest research published in Sustainable Production and Consumption of Elsevier! Our paper "Enablers for Circular Ecosystem Transformation: A Multi-Case Study of Brazilian Circular Ecosystems" dives into the critical enablers for emerging circular ecosystems. Our framework identifies four categories of enablers: affiliation, interdependence, alignment, and ecosystem engineering. Each set provides unique theoretical and empirical insights into how to facilitate circular ecosystem transformation. ♻️ 🔍 In this study, we delved into 7 key firms actively engaged in circular ecosystem transformation from 2008 to 2023. This extensive field research was a collective effort with an incredible team: Leonardo Augusto de Vasconcelos Gomes, Aline Homrich, PhD, Ana Facin, Lucas Emmanuel Nascimento Silva, Danika Andrea Castillo Ospina, Adriana Hofmann Trevisan, Aldo Ometto, and Janaina Mascarenhas. 🌐 Our findings open up new pathways for exploring enablers that can facilitate multidirectional value alignment— a complex but vital challenge in advancing circular configurations.
