🌍🔍Yesterday, Duco had the privilege of co-hosting an insightful event on the Trust and Safety Market Research Report alongside TheBridge, the National Security Institute (NSI), and the Joseph Rainey Center for Public Policy. It was a fantastic opportunity to delve into the latest developments and innovative strategies in trust and safety. We were honored to have our CEO, Sidney Olinyk, and Chief Global Affairs Officer, Katie Harbath, lead the discussion alongside Allie Brandenburger, Glen Wise, Jamil Jaffer, and Sarah E. Hunt. A big thank you to all attendees and partners who made this event a success! 🔗 Stay informed and ahead of the curve by the reading our full Trust and Safety Market Research Report: https://lnkd.in/dd3ZGdAB #TrustandSafety #MarketResearch #GlobalInsights #ExpertNetwork

Very pleased with the launch of a major piece of work today: https://t.co/qGaYPdzo7o. More considered and public attention is needed on the crisis risks built into the strategic balance in the Indo-Pacific, and we should be more sceptical about how controllable and stable those risks are. Unapologetically long read on a serious topic but you can also grab the Strategist version (https://lnkd.in/dEk3gPM2) ANU National Security College Australian Strategic Policy Institute

As a newcomer to the national security space, I think the issue with Australia's security discourse is not merely the limited robust debate and somewhat minimal contestability in ideas, but there is also a "diversity deficit" in terms of the talent that the national intelligence and security community attracts. Scholarships like the National Intelligence Community and National Security College Scholarship for Women and others, offered by ANU National Security College have been integral in opening up young women from diverse backgrounds (like me!) to a unique field of security studies and potential career pathways in intelligence and national security, that I otherwise wouldn't have considered. Access to opportunities remains important, particularly, financially and in tangible ways, alongside carving out space for rich, contestable conversations - so that the next generation of security scholars and experts can be empowered to contribute to Australia's security discourse, even when they don't necessarily see themselves already represented in positions of leadership. I'll be keen to take Dr Elizabeth Buchanan and Bridi Rice's insights further to explore opportunities for next generational leadership in security. 🧐
For the Readout, Lab CEO Bridi Rice sat with Senior Fellow at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Dr Elizabeth Buchanan and discussed her piece in the Strategist, ‘The Sad State of Australia’s Security Discourse; Listen here 👉https://ow.ly/VXw250RHL8O Read here 👉https://ow.ly/4InS50RHL8M
