Thoda Sasta Package Do naa Please Boht jyaada lag raha h ye to (Give me the cheaper package, It is very costly) Recently happened with one of my discovery calls and I was smiling inside seriously because the first thing he asked in the call was about consulting price When you are running a service business, these issues come up very often, where prospects see just the amount instead of evaluating the value you are about to get. If the client is not bothered much about how much transformation that service can bring in your business and just wants to know the price then understand he is not the right customer for you. He is either just out there for window-shopping or you missed building the first impression of nurturing him before the call. In either case, spending much time on this type of prospect is not worth it at that moment. Instead put the prospect in the followup list and keep nurturing him with valuable content and information till he is ready to take the service. Hope this helps.

*** PI Awareness Week *** To end PI Awareness Week, we wanted to highlight the benefits of face-to-face broking. We had a renewal recently where we did receive the proposal form in good time. Our agent though requested that we should only approach the holding because they were being directed to use a different Wholesaler and they did not have access to the existing market. During the renewal negotiation a claim had been intimated leaving the existing market no longer wanting to offer renewal terms. To compound this, the alternative wholesaler, due to the complexities of the risk and the claim intimation were unable to secure terms. Our agent came back to us the day before renewal asking for an extension which the holding market declined, leaving the Insured off cover. We wanted to help so we requested more information and were able to delve deeper into the claim notification. Once the information was received a few days later, we were able to go out to the market and sit down with Underwriters and explain the complexities of the risk and advise why we felt the claim would not be paid. Utilising the ability for face-to-face broking Vs the other wholesaler who just emailed the market where they were not based in London meant we were able to overturn a decline and get reasonable terms for the client. #broking #underwriting #online #cultureisourdifferentiator #PI #facetoface
