Why digital twins are the future of cardiovascular care 🫀 At PrediSurge, we believe digital twins are revolutionizing cardiovascular interventions. By creating precise virtual models of a patient’s anatomy, digital twins allow clinicians to simulate procedures, optimize treatment strategies, and assess potential complications before the intervention. This could lead to even safer, more effective care, reducing risks and improving patient outcomes. Digital twins represent the future of precision medicine, setting a new standard for cardiovascular care. ✅ #PrediSurge #DigitalTwins #CardiovascularCare #Innovation #Healthcare #PrecisionMedicine

Now we can move to PROCESS. Usually this is where the most work needs to be done and it is worth spending some time focusing your efforts. At level 1 trauma centers, for example, we have three missions: Patient care, Education, and Research. Try to find areas to work on that will accomplish all three of these. For example, venous thromboembolism prophylaxis is a great chance to educate the broader team on anticoagulants while improving care. If gaps in the medical literature are identified, these are areas for research.

Dear Colleagues, In a recent publication in the American Journal of Case Reports, a case series of 3 children with bilious vomiting highlights the diagnostic challenge of intestinal malrotation. Despite inconclusive upper-gastrointestinal series (UGI) results, adjunctive techniques such as ultrasound examination were crucial in achieving a preoperative diagnosis. This study emphasizes the importance of considering additional diagnostic tools when faced with inconclusive UGI findings. As medical professionals, understanding the practical applications of these adjunctive techniques can significantly impact patient outcomes. I encourage you to read the complete report on the American Journal of Case Reports webpage to learn more about this important topic. #MedicalCommunity #IntestinalMalrotation #DiagnosticChallenge | https://lnkd.in/dJ5rM9CT
