Excited to announce that our quality improvement initiative focused on enhancing advance care planning for lymphoma and myeloma patients treated with CAR T-cell therapy has received an ASCO Conquer Cancer Merit Award! 🎉 By incorporating structured reminders into our workflow and using an Epic SmartBlock, we significantly increased advance care planning rates, ensuring that patient preferences for care are properly recorded prior to CAR T-cell therapy. An expansion study in patients treated with bispecific T-cell engagers is planned, with broader rollout within our entire hematologic malignancy group in the future.
