Though I found it funny, I also realized that it is a classic example of Perception deception that is often used in business, including the Disaster Restoration space. The lesson: Build your own playbook. Don't let the competitive field position you in the minds of your prospects. You have four positions to choose from; The Leader. The Challenger. The Follower. The Nicher. Choose wisely!

During our kick off meeting 2024, we did reflect on the incredible journey that was 2023 for Pizza Hut Taiwan. This year has been nothing short of outstanding, marked by challenges that we faced head-on and triumphed over. In the face of adversity, we not only persevered but soared to new heights, breaking not one, not two, but three significant records. Our unprecedented market share, the remarkable expansion of our stores, and the phenomenal rise in digital sales all speak volumes about our collective dedication and resilience. As we bask in the glory of these achievements, let us also acknowledge that challenges are the crucible of growth. They push us to think creatively, adapt swiftly, and collaborate seamlessly. It is this very spirit, coupled with efficient operations and dedicated individuals, that has enabled us to sustain ten consecutive years of growth, a milestone that few can boast. In my role, one of my primary goals is to regularly foster a sense of well-being and tie our company core values into the daily activities of the organization. “Show appreciation” is one of the easiest, yet most creative values I get to act on. I am constantly challenged with coming up with new ideas to show our employees how much we appreciate them, and although it can be a challenge at times trying to please every type of person and work with budget constraints, sometimes the simplest ideas work out the best. Queue Taco Tuesday! Everyone’s favorite weekly holiday. This morning we brought in Taco supplies and had the staff make their own Taco in a Bag. This mini celebration takes away no time from employees who feel too busy to participate in company activities, works for most types of diets and is a fun , more unique option than ordering in pizza ( although, everyone loves pizza once in a while). Grateful to work for a company who allows me to explore my creativity, and rarely says no to the ideas I bring that I feel will benefit the human side of the organization. 👌
