We are thrilled to announce the reopening of the Community Impact Grants (CIG) program, aimed at supporting grassroots organizations in Allegheny and Beaver counties. These microgrants, potentially totaling up to $10,000 each, are designed to advance initiatives in environmental justice, education and social equity. Since its inception in 2021, the CIG program has been instrumental in funding nearly 100 projects, with a strong emphasis on diversity, equity and community impact. Last year alone, DLC supported 38 unique projects spanning areas such as food access, STEAM education, refugee assistance and more.
