There are two main types of post- tension: Bonded (grouted) and Unbonded. A monostrand tendon consists of a seven-wire strand that is coated with a corrosion-inhibiting grease and encased in an extruded plastic protective sheathing. the bonded technology, the tendon cannot slide in its duct due to the cement grouting which is injected after tensioning. In the unbonded technology, the tendon can slide inside its duct, the corrosion protection is given by grease, wax or dry air. Unbonded post-tensioned concrete differs from bonded post-tensioning by providing each individual cable permanent freedom of movement relative to the concrete. To achieve this, each individual tendon is coated with grease (generally lithium based) and covered by a plastic sheathing formed in an extrusion process. Bonded tendons are seven-wires strands inserted inside a plastic or steel duct, and after stressing the strands, grout is injected to fill the duct. Unbonded tendons are made up of greased seven-wire strands covered with plastic sheathing.

DSK Breining The slurry seal microsurfacing is a bitumen mortar made with high-performance binders and basalt aggregates that are cold-applied via a special self-propelled machine. Ideal for correcting damaged paving. The main features of this treatment are considerably increased skid resistance, reduced braking distances, reduced aquaplaning risks and a consequent increase in safety. The road pavement’s service life is extended as a result of the waterproofing function. It is frequently used to restore a worn road surface by applying the treatment directly (without needing to mill beforehand) or onto a connecting layer (road binder). Self-propelled machines are used for this process, as they can simultaneously produce and spread the bitumen mortar and guarantee a considerable daily production rate, in turn significantly reducing the duration of roadworks, compared to the traditional processes. The use of specially selected aggregate materials and emulsions modified with the latest generation natural latex, allows for excellent results in terms of performance and stability over time.

Energy-efficient dry mortar production line: tower structure unit with dry sand silo and cement silo installed on top.
