Together with the creative forces at Dutch memberful design studio Momkai, The School for Moral Ambition transforms individual purpose into collective momentum. Redefining what it means to pursue a meaningful career. With the launch of the initiative’s brand identity and platform, morally ambitious firestarters are being inspired to help tackle the world’s most pressing challenges 👊🏽🧡 The project delivers a comprehensive experience that includes a best-selling book, brand identity, launch videos, digital media platform, educational materials and a strategic fundraising campaign. Also, in their quest to promote the ideal of Moral Ambition, they built an extensive network of ambassadors. Central to the movement is its distinctive visual and digital identity created by Momkai. The school’s branding incorporates a rich, warm colour palette: a nod to craftsmanship and expertise. Digital woodwork elements echo the tangible nature of the ambitions set by The School. The team at Momkai also created a robust digital platform to ensure resilience during high traffic periods, as well as videos for promotional content, and various digital tools for educational materials and community engagement. The movement is gaining traction. From viral social media campaigns to major news segments. The school’s mission continues to inspire people to make the leap from passive awareness to active involvement. What a night last week at ADNIGHT! For the third consecutive year, we proudly collaborated on a special ‘Dutch Digital Design Route,’ alongside our partners ACE, code d’azur | Part of Hypersolid, DEPT®, Dentsu Creative, Monks and TBWA\NEBOKO. Stickers at their doors marked the stops along the route. Our team had the pleasure of visiting numerous agencies, engaging with the crowd, and connecting with a diverse range of people: from emerging talent and industry peers to brand marketers. Chatting with Kamiel Meijers Meijers - Dutch Digital Design curator, but also co-founder and creative director at 51North  - a design and development studio in the South of the Netherlands and partner agency of the Dutch Digital Design foundation 🧡 About where and how it all started for Kamiel in this industry, taking 51North to the next level and Vera van de Seyp - a Dutch designer and creative coder who currently works as a research assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It all started with an interest in creating things, drawing and an uncle who gave Kamiel his first look into Photoshop - showing him the tips and tricks that got Kamiel hooked. From moonlighting as a digital designer whilst studying Communication & Multimedia Design to becoming the co-founder of 51North - 51North being the latitude of their home town Sittard 👊🏽 'We have grown into an agency that can offer the whole digital journey - from design and visual to development of front-and backend. We connect the dots in the journey. Our mission is to turn anything that feels like a challenge to a smooth digital experience, or as we would like to say it: we turn clunky into flawless.’ 🧡 What drives Kamiel personally? 'I would like to look into digital projects that are more tangible. A combination of audio-visual and animation with more mechanical executions, like installations. Bringing technologies together. Dutch full service digital agency DotControl - together with Selmore Creative Agency - embarked on a journey to re-establish the Nationale Bioscoopbon gifting experience. Not just as a gift card but as a memorable, digital interactive experience 🧡 It worked for our Dutch Digital Design curators: 'Lovely visual language: a breath of fresh air within the classic 'I don't know what to get this person'-gifting realm!' (Martijn van Dam, Dutch Digital Design curator and lead designer at Momkai) De Nationale Bioscoopbon entrusted the digital agency with full creative freedom. That is where the magic happened. In one week, they went from ideas and sketches to proof of concept, user testing and finally a technical prototype. From there on they set-up a multi-disciplinary team who created a motion language, visual style and sound design - in an agile way. Resulting in an interactive platform using 3D WebGL technology. With over 150,000 design possibilities, the platform enables users to craft a gift card as unique as the recipient - making the experience fully interactive and engaging. They’ll talk about how modern marketing makes culture ‘boring’ and what we can do about it. 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗱'𝗮𝘇𝘂𝗿 - 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 & 𝗔𝗜 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 In addition to talks and ongoing presentations of work, code d'azur shares more about their recently opened Data & AI department. They will also host an exhibition of generative AI art by their designer Øygar. 𝗔𝗖𝗘 - 𝗔𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 Club Ace is transformed into a gallery – an ode to creative talent in the broadest sense of the word.
