😍🚛 Another milestone in the electrification of freight transport? Yes, our colleagues at MAN Truck & Bus SE delivered the first eTruck to the Duvenbeck Unternehmensgruppe, a German logistics provider. The "Ultra Low Liner eTGX" has been specially developed to meet the load volume requirements of automotive logistics. 🪴 By 2026, Duvenbeck plans to supply up to 120 MAN eTGX units to Volkswagen production facilities, making plant logistics particularly climate-friendly. It will also be used for the first time at the Wolfsburg plant. "The use of MAN eTrucks is part of the goTOzero impact logistics program, with which Volkswagen has embarked on the path to consistently climate-friendly logistics. Great news from our #TRATONGROUP brand MAN Truck & Bus SE!🔌This week, we celebrated the topping-out ceremony for MAN Truck & Bus SE's new #battery production facility in Nuremberg, Germany, marking a pivotal moment in our commitment to #sustainable transportation. 🔋 With a total investment of around €100 million, this state-of-the-art facility will create more than 300 jobs and start large-scale battery production for #BatteryElectric MAN trucks and buses from April 2025. We're proud that MAN is the first commercial vehicle manufacturer in Germany with its own battery series production. “The drive technology of the future is being built in Nuremberg. We’re not just developing batteries here, we’ll be producing them on a large scale, using the latest technologies, in just a few months,” said Alexander Vlaskamp, CEO of MAN. The EV truck is manufactured by Windrose and boasts best-in-class battery performance and reliability’… ‘The round-trip journey spanned a total distance of 1,725 kilometers which was achieved with only three charging stops. As announced in yesterday's #TRATON GROUP 9M Interim Statement for 2024, the Group has reported an increase in sales revenue and profitability. Within this result, each brand of the Group made a contribution, with highlights from the third quarter of 2024 including: 🔧 Scania Group announced Services 360, a new service offering for all of Europe, and showcased a full range of electrified and biofuel trucks – including a new battery electric tractor – at IAA Transportation in Hanover. 🚛 MAN Truck & Bus SE now has a full lineup of eTrucks, thanks to the launch of the eTGL for light distribution. 🌎 International completed its rebranding from Navistar. As International, the brand returns to its roots but also reflects its future-facing mission to offer enhanced customer experiences. 🚍 Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus is bringing the new e-Volksbus to passenger transportation. First announced earlier in 2024, the bus has now entered homologation.
