Lessons learned for Communication on Change..... *Currently The Department of Education are just randomly pushing stuff out there without consultation with all the impacted stakeholders. *They'd save themselves so much hassle by adapting their communication and approach to Change. *Change that is to everyone's benefit introduced with input from all stakeholders from the start will of course be welcome and come to pass with the right planning and supports in place. *The As-is approach is massively impacting everyone, creating complete unnecessary stress, waste of people time and public funds, which could be better used! *Get all the right people around the table to agree it before you just throw it out there like this. 🤷♀️ From the start - Think Benefits Realisation.... *What will this Change deliver? *Who will benefit and who will need to participate in making it happen? *They are the persons you need buy-in from before you just go ahead and do it. *If they are stakeholders they need to be on your project team in workshops and you need to consider their time with respect as part of your planning to ensure success. https://lnkd.in/ewk9ZiVS

School Management System For an educator, engaging with the community is essential, as improving the management system and quality of education in a school is challenging without community support. As dedicated teachers, we must communicate with the community, encourage them to take ownership of educational institutions, and regularly invite them to school to inform them about ongoing issues. By doing so, they can develop strategies to address these challenges. This approach fosters a community that values education, takes pride in being part of the educational system, and cares more deeply about these institutions, which is vital for the success of our educational efforts. #Education #SindhEducation

Helping dedicated teachers effectively support speech and language needs in fun and practical ways|Parent coaching for early intervention | Fab SLT resource-maker! | Teletherapy
Staff training is so important and valuable, but implementation following the training is not a guarantee. I’ve learnt this from my years of experience! I would spend hours planning, organising and delivering the most incredible training session for schools (if I do say so myself!), only to see zero follow through into the classroom! Here are THREE key factors to guarantee implementation: ✅ Relevance and Alignment: Teachers are more likely to implement strategies learned in training sessions if they see the relevance of those strategies to their teaching practice and if they align with their instructional goals and the needs of their students. ✅ Scaffolded Support: Implementation is more successful when teachers receive ongoing support and guidance before, during, and after training sessions. ✅ Accountability and Recognition: Establishing clear expectations for implementation and accountability mechanisms can encourage teachers to prioritise and follow through on integrating new strategies into their teaching. On that note - have you seen the details of my 'SALT for Schools' training programme? It incorporates all of the above and more!!! DM me to learn how you can support your SLCN students by empowering your staff! #headteacher #senco #earlyyears #headofprimary #inclusion #speechandlanguagetraining
