Thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's CATCH EDIB Network, it's always great to hear and share some ideas with the network members. Key takeaways from yesterday's session, especially from a recruitment perspective: ❓ Website accessibility Ensuring your website is optimised and accessible for everyone is crucial. Is your website user-friendly for all, including those with disabilities? ❓ Inclusivity beyond accessibility Accessibility doesn't always equate to inclusivity. What proactive steps are you taking to make everyone feel included? ❓ Employee consultation Regularly consulting with your employees about improving processes is essential. Do your people feel they belong and are heard in your workplace? ❓ Interview process accessibility Is your interview process genuinely accessible, or do you assume everyone can navigate your preferred method? Flexibility in interview methods is key. ❓ Supportive facilities Offering facilities like a quiet room, prayer room, breastfeeding room etc., can make a significant difference. Are these facilities available in your workplace? or does this sound alien to you? ❓ Building trust and belonging People stay where they feel a sense of trust and belonging. What initiatives are you implementing to reduce attrition and foster a supportive environment? There are industries that are less inclusive and we have a long way to go, but nothing changes if nothing changes! Here are just a few examples of how we do this:  ✔️Customer Focus: At Panametrics, our relentless focus on customer feedback and continuous improvement has led to more than a 20% increase in customer satisfaction.  ✔️Design for Manufacturability: At Bently Nevada, our commitment to quality begins at the design phase. We ensure that our products are not only innovative but also simple to manufacture, saving time and resources and reducing potential defects in the process. ✔️Zero Defects: We're pursuing the goal of zero defects at Druck Pressure Sensors and Calibrators. We're progressing daily through stringent quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.  ✔️ Yield Improvement: In our Reuter-Stokes business, we're driving a culture of problem-solving using Shainin tools and methodology. With intense focus and a structured technical approach, we've been able to tackle some of our most challenging issues and improve product yields.   During this World Quality Week, let's all strive to realize our competitive potential through a shared dedication to quality. Get to know Viridiana Morin, our Sales Analyst! Viri started with Kohler as a customer service rep for the bilingual team and worked her way up to her role today with the Kohler Aftermarket Parts team.
