However, it is actually a 100% breathable, acid, scratch, oil, and stain-resistant product from Coval Technologies, with added colorant. Unlike epoxies and urethanes that can trap moisture in the concrete and modify the profile, the breathable nature of Coval ensures that moisture is not trapped, and the concrete floor's slip resistance profile remains unchanged. While Coval will not eliminate the need for epoxy or urethane, in many instances using Coval in their place can be beneficial.
