Advancing Brain AVM Surgery: Happy to share our newly published study and an illustrative video. In collaboration with the ICCAS - Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery Leipzig and Erdem Güresir, our latest case report introduces the SHINE (Surgical Hyperspectral Imaging and Indocyanine Green Near-Infrared Evaluation) approach for brain AVM resection. By combining HSI and ICG VA, we enhance intraoperative evaluation of tissue oxygenation and perfusion, improving surgical precision and might improve patient safety.
