Cowboy Clean Fuels has achieved a significant milestone by securing its inaugural Underground Injection Control (UIC) permit from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality. This accomplishment marks the launch of an innovative project dedicated to carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and renewable natural gas (RNG) in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. Upon reaching full operational capacity, this project will have the capacity to sequester more than 150,000 metric tons of CO2 annually while simultaneously generating 0.7 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of clean and sustainable natural gas. The project's positive impact extends beyond environmental benefits, as it promises substantial advantages for the state of Wyoming as well.
