Deerfield, IL – September 21, 2023 – Dyspraxia USA is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Brent Betit as the Executive Director for Strategy & Development. With nearly four decades of experience in nonprofit leadership roles – during the majority of that time working exclusively with neurodiverse individuals, whom he calls Distinctive Thinkers – Dr. Betit will provide pro bono counsel to Dyspraxia USA’s leadership team. His focus will be on strategic planning and institutional advancement activities, developing resources, and advancing understanding for a diagnosis that currently impacts more than 30 million of our fellow citizens. Dr. Betit’s prior successes as a seasoned development leader and strategic thinker are expected to accelerate Dyspraxia USA’s growth and development, significantly expanding its missional capabilities while establishing it as the premier recognized authority and resource for dyspraxic individuals. Dyspraxia USA has an ambitious three-year strategic plan. With your support, Dyspraxia USA will establish and make available a national database for service providers, a provider verification and rating system, pro bono therapy services, and much more.
