❄️ Frozen is better than fresh, and that is why I say it. Controversial, but let me explain. Research showed that frozen vegetables are harvested in full season and processed directly so that they retain the maximum amount of nutrients. 🌱 However, broccoli or spinach in supermarkets is not seasonal. When compared in the lab, the frozen veg has more nutrients than the greenhouse / artificial light veg. I keep it 50/50. For emergency winter food, I enjoy PICARD veg, and during the weekend, I love to buy seasonal veg from local farmers.
