Hawassa University recently held a significant meeting, bringing together university instructors and their leadership team to discuss mainstreaming e-learning and digitalization into their activities. The meeting aimed to integrate the e-learning targets for strengthening higher education into the 2017 E.C. (2024/25) university plan. Discussions focused on engaging e-SHE masterclass-certified instructors, utilizing their expertise as influencers and change agents within their circles, and developing strategies for initiating e-course development and fully integrating the program within the university. This proactive action by Hawassa University marks a milestone in universities taking ownership of the program and ensuring its sustainability by fully mainstreaming the e-SHE initiative within their institutions. We extend our gratitude to the leadership of Hawassa University for their proactive engagement with the community in the successful implementation of the e-SHE Program.
