This includes actions to mitigate adverse effects, reduce water consumption, address risks, and report on withdrawals and discharges. Also ESRS E5 emphasizes the importance of wastewater recycling and limiting water withdrawals and discharges. 📝💧 #SDGs United Nations SDG-6 states that access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene is crucial for health and well-being. Without quadrupling progress, billions will lack these services by 2030 due to rapid population growth, urbanization, increased water demand and climate change 📝💧 #GRI The GRI 303: Water and Effluents standard requires organizations to disclose detailed information on water use, including the amounts withdrawn, discharged, and consumed, as well as the quality of discharged wastewater. Organizations must report high water stress areas and describe actions taken to mitigate negative impacts. 📝💧 #SFDR Articles 8 and 9 of the SFDR require detailed disclosure of the sustainability of financial products, with a particular focus on water management. Article 8 mandates funds to promote environmental or social characteristics, including water sustainability.
