E-Space is committed to keeping space clean for generations to come. We are driving the space industry toward a safer overall space system design and standard by building sustainability into our core space architecture. We have intentionally designed our satellites based on clearly defined tenets to create the most sustainable satellite constellation in space. This includes small cross-sectional area, low-mass spacecraft that fail safely and demise fully with no component release. 🔗Read more here: https://bit.ly/455WPva #AdvancingLEO #LEO #SustainableSpace #SpaceSustainability #IoT #satelliteIoT #TeamESpace #ESpace #ESpaceGroup #WisdomWednesday

South Australian satellite Kanyini has achieved another key milestone with the successful completion of its Environmental Stress Screening ahead of its mid-2024 launch. The critical testing was conducted at the National Space Test Facility at the The Australian National University in Canberra, verifying the satellite’s ability to withstand the rigours of space 🛰️ Fully manufactured in Adelaide’s Lot Fourteen, Kanyini passed the screening with flying colours. The launch of Kanyini marks a pivotal step for the South Australian space sector, set to build space heritage for local satellite manufacturing, Internet of things (IoT) and mission lead capabilities. Once in orbit, Kanyini’s dual IoT and imager payloads will deliver critical space data to expand our knowledge, particularly in relation to sustainability and climate impacts. The Kanyini mission is a collaboration between the South Australian Government, the SmartSat CRC, Inovor Technologies and Myriota. Kanyini will be launched onboard SpaceX’s Transporter-11 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, USA.
