Having a clean vehicle is one of the simplest but most important things you can do to drive safely. Any grease build-up on a windscreen and mirrors will increase light glare and distort driver vision, particularly when driving after dark as the nights start to draw in. Keeping your vehicle clean maximises visibility at all times. In summer, windscreens can become covered in dead insects, so ensure yours is clean and you have good visibility. Check your tyres to ensure they have adequate tread depth and look in good condition and check your oil and coolant.
