Delivering Coating Excellence for Your Assets | Experienced EPC Painting/Coating Supervisor | AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector | 15+ Years Oil & Gas Construction | Middle East & SE Asia
✨ Another challenging weather conditions for painting/coating projects in certain areas of the Middle East is sandstorms. These storms typically occur during the transition period from cold to summer season and can last for several weeks or even longer. During sandstorms, painting and coating activities may be hampered or even completely halted, especially for outdoor projects. This video clip was encountered during my previous project in 2018. 🤔 What are some challenging weather conditions you've faced in your region that impact painting/coating activities? 👇 Share your experiences in the comments below!

What a memorable picture! It was Painting Unit #1, July 6th, 2018. A client inquired about painting services, even though at the time we were solely focused on apartment cleaning. She wondered if we could also handle painting. I asked my team if anyone knew how to paint, and one person said, "My husband does!" With this in mind, I confidently told the client, "YES, OF COURSE WE DO." It took three days and five people to complete what was then considered the worst painting job by the maintenance supervisor. During those three days, I interviewed painters, took notes, and devised more efficient methods. From that initial disaster, a new department was born. Fast forward to today, and we now have a large team of painters, managers, standard operations, quality control, and the ability to prepare units with cleaning, painting and punch from start to finish in just two days. This picture is a reminder of how we can achieve anything when we put our hearts and willingness to learn into it, especially when we act with the sincere intention of helping others. Tears filled my eyes when I saw this picture, as only God knows how hard I've worked to shape this company into what it is today and how much I've learned in the past year. The turning point came when I genuinely welcomed God into my life, and I can clearly see the difference it has made.

Painting Woes! We're currently painting our house again. Last year, after finishing the job, heavy rains came and ruined the paint. We were upset about the money we spent and lost. This time, we hired a different painter. The recent rains caused a water leak, so we called a waterproofing expert too, to fix the roof. The waterproofing guy, noticing the new primer before the paint job, warned us the paint might not last in the rain. He explained that the top of our boundary wall needed waterproofing, showing us signs of water damage. He even told us where to get the materials if we didn't want to hire him. If that was a sales pitch it got him hired to do more 😎 This made me realize: 1. Sometimes it's worth paying more for a person with diverse skills, for a job done right. 2. We often expect new people to fix our problems without fully understanding the underlying issues ourselves. Then we replace them with someone else, repeating the cycle. (madness much 🙃) 3. Having an advisor who knows about these issues is helpful (I should have asked my dad for advice but he wasn't feeling well and knowing how hands-on he is, he would have come and taken the job on himself). I'm glad we caught it now before we even started the house. #AvoidingRepeatMistakes #InvestInQuality

Hiring your family member who happens to have a ladder to paint your home (or doing it yourself) means you're much less likely to have the professional result you want. Since costs can quickly rack up when you need to repaint areas that weren't properly done, why not hire a painting contractor and get it done right the first time?
