Germanys Energy Strategy: #Gas-fired #Power Plant Acceleration, Hydrogen Conversion, and #Industrial Emissions Reduction In a bid to bolster its energy security and transition towards cleaner energy sources, Germany's ruling #coalition has announced plans to expedite the construction of new gasfired power plants, intending to eventually convert them to run on #hydrogen by the midto-late 2030s. The move comes as Germany aims to phase out coal-fired power generation and increase the share of #renewable energy in its power mix, aiming for 80 percent by 2030.
