Lots of good things happening at Eagle Eye Networks
🚀 Yesterday Bosch Security and Safety Systems sent out a press release about the collaboration with Eagle Eye Networks. Three quick reasons on why this is important. 1. The combination of edge camera #AI and cloud is extremely powerful. Why? Edge AI can save bandwidth to the cloud by using smart AI features of the cameras e.g. only send video when a person is detected. 2. Enterprise customers don't like wasting money on expensive AI cameras while leaving the onboard AI unused, however their strategies are rapidly moving to #cloud. Enabling camera AI meta data on the cloud is key to leverage best of bread of both the cloud and physical camera world. 3. ONVIF Standards for IP camera meta data around AI and #analytics is getting more and more sophisticated. But what is the value of AI camera meta data without a cloud aggregating that data and turning it into relevant data for search, notifications and automated decision making and Business Intelligence.
