Last week, the incredible Khuong Ngo and I spent three days locked away with a peer-selected team of First Alliance Credit Union employees and their inspirational leader, Brent W. Rempe, I-CUDE. Our mission: To help the group articulate what they do, every day. Why they do it. The way they do it. This was an amazing exercise. It wasn't reimagining the credit union's Mission, Vision and Values; it wasn't helping them decide who they wanted to be when they grow up... It was putting words to what they already do. It was getting the group to say, collectively, "Yes, that's it! That describes us!" It was a phenomenal three days. Exhausting and empowering in equal measure. And, as anyone who's ever had Mission Brands Consulting running a session with them knows, we hear and document everything!
