🌳 Today, as we welcomed the long-awaited weekend, my colleagues from across the globe and I had the privilege of joining Earthworm Foundation Founder, Scott Poynton, for an hour of virtual nature therapy walks. 🌲 Access to nature is a privilege, especially for someone like me living in the suburban area of Jakarta, a metropolitan capital with concerning air quality (ranked the third worst globally 😥 ). A simple walk, intended to be relaxing, often leads to contemplation about what I breathe into my lungs. 🍃 Nature therapy has been proven to reduce blood pressure and lower heart rate. In my daily life filled with to-do lists, as a communications person who spends most of my workday at a desk, it was truly refreshing to virtually experience the greenery on my screen as Scott and the team walked through the forest. Thank you Scott for your guidance and to our HR team for curating various activities throughout June, a month dedicated to wellbeing. These initiatives serve as a reminder of our shared commitment to both people and nature, encouraging us to prioritize self-care and reconnect with the natural world that inspires our work. Let's remember to take time amidst all the hustle to connect with nature—it's not just refreshing but essential for our well-being. Have a wonderful weekend! 😊 #LifeAtEarthworm #WellbeingMonth

So glad you could join Sheila and that you enjoyed it so much. We are privileged here in Switzerland to have so much greenery on our doorstep, and fesh air to breathe when we experience it. Through walks like today, even though they're virtual, we can share some of that beauty with our friends far away. I look forward to welcoming you on future trails.
