The residents love them as they are so quiet and don’t wake you up in the morning!

I would be interested in the crews experience with vehicle owners caught behind. I remember talking to a crew in a London borough some years ago where they were subject to abuse every day. One day, the driver of a BMW got so angry, he pulled a gun on the crew which had the opposite affect as they all abandoned the vehicle to surrounding alleys and back gardens leaving the truck parked in the middle of the road unattended. The BMW reversed all the way back out of the street in the end.
