This week, a Kazakh delegation visits Lahti to follow up on discussions from our Team Finland export promotion visit in spring 2024. The visit focuses on exploring the Green City initiative and meeting local entrepreneurs. Lahden kaupunki / City of Lahti has made significant strides toward carbon neutrality by collaborating with the local government, businesses, and residents. The Green City initiative raised interest in Kazakhstan and the delegation headed to Lahti this week to learn from their work towards #carbonneutrality. Kazakhstan's strategy is closely tied to sustainable actions like those in Lahti, with a focus on #wastemanagement, #energyefficiency, #heating, and #construction.
