October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, and it is important for us to help by raising awareness about breast cancer, the second leading cause of cancer death among women. To support all those who have been affected by the disease, Florida Blue teams across the state will be participating in this year’s American Cancer Society walks, and we hope you’ll consider joining one in your local community. Florida Blue encourages women to check with their doctor, do regular self-exams, and get their age-appropriate screenings and #mammogram.
