IT’S THE UPPER WEST SKATES TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AND THE BEGINNING OF PRIDE MONTH!! . Our annual event is more than a gathering - it is a celebration of unity, diversity, individual expression & creativity, theiugh skateboarding and communal gatherings. . UPPER WEST SKATES isn't just a local skateshop. We are a sanctuary for neighborhood kids who come as they are and accepted as part of our extended family. We are a creative space with all types of opportunities To teach, mentor, and learn alongside each other. . Very very Tiring but to be honest, it felt so friggin good to just see my community, serve them food from the people that donated, and making people happy, smiling with stomachs full, Knowing we fed over 250 people last time was crazy!! Like for real. . A best trick contest being hosted and mc’d by Ian Clarke of the 501 (c )3 not for profit: NYC Skate Coalition will be helped and we’re hoping to offer cash prizes of $150 $100 $50 for first second and third prize winners and well as cash for tricks. . I've had the privilege of witnessing the power of community engagement firsthand during my involvement with the Cronulla Sharks' 'Sharks Have Heart Round' (Round 7). This community based initiative not only raised vital funds for charitable causes but also brought fans together to celebrate their shared passion for the team while making a positive impact in the community. As sports management professionals, it's our responsibility to recognize the importance of community engagement and prioritize initiatives that foster meaningful connections with our fans. To all of you out there working hard every day at your vocations and then volunteering for charities,booster orgs, sport groups, or coaching a sports team or activity- 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! Thank you! Often, "busy" is celebrated far too much. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆. Many times, all people have capacity to do outside of managing every day life is to write a check (and we all thank you for that as well!).  I do make 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 as we are all out here prioritizing our time in different ways. What is the Accessible Golf Community Foundation nonprofit organization all about?
