"We will keep you in mind" I think that some people make think recruiters "BS" answers to them. I can't speak about everyone, but with our agency, we definitely don't. But sometimes we don't always have an opportunity that meets the nutrition professional's preferences at a specific point in time. But then 6 months later...or any amount of time later we just might. And we remember people And the ones that we "kept in mind" eventually may get hired with us (or our client). And this has been helpful to us because we have filled many roles by constantly interacting, saving resumes, and saving emails in out database. Here is to finding more opportunities for the right nutrition professionals. 🎉 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 (btw, it seems these are supposed to be emojis that are having great ideas, thought it may fit with this post). --------------------------------------------- Hi I'm Kim Company President Nutrition Remedy RDs | Staffing Services My team and I 💜 providing the best nutrition care for your communities. ⏩ expert nutrition professionals (Registered Dietitians, Executive Chefs, Certified Dietary Managers/Food Service Directors, Registered Dietetic Technicians) ⏩ all 50 states ⏩ personalized services for your specific facility #healthcare #education #university #longtermcare #seniorliving #hospitals #nutrition #staffing

What is the best "Definition For Opportunity" ? Part 1 To me, opportunity is a privilege—a unique advantage of being in a position or possessing something impactful or relevant. It's a chance that can transform you into a better person if handled wisely .Opportunity isn't just a random occurrence; it's a stepping stone that enhances your life and exposes you to new adventures and experiences. *My Experience with Opportunity* As a Principal Catering Officer (though a Food Technologist by training) in my workplace, I have had the privilege of serving on the Quality Improvement Committee, the Mental Health Committee, and as the Secretary of the World Food Day Committee for my department at the Health Service Commission level. Additionally, I am one of the hospital managers where I currently work. These opportunities have significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth, allowing me to meet and interact with a diverse range of people, across departments; both within and outside the hospital. *The Skills I've Developed* Being a member of these committees has endowed me with numerous skills, including: - **Communication Skills**: Interacting with various stakeholders, from patients to colleagues, has honed my ability to convey information effectively and empathetically. - **Customer Service Skills**: Ensuring patient satisfaction and addressing their concerns promptly has been a crucial part of my role. - **Interpersonal Relations**: Working closely with different teams and individuals has enhanced my ability to build and maintain positive relationships. - **Problem-Solving Skills**: As a hospital manager, I frequently handle challenging situations, such as calming distressed patients and ensuring protocols are followed to prevent chaos. - **Leadership and Management**: Overseeing the quality and cleanliness of hospital linens required setting benchmarks, collecting data, and taking swift action to maintain standards. - **Listening Skills**: Engaging with school children during mental health programs has improved my ability to listen actively and communicate effectively with younger individuals. - **Attention to Detail**: Monitoring the cleanliness standards and quality of hospital environments to prevent infections demands a keen eye for detail and thoroughness. - **Presentation Skills**: Serving on the Mental Health Committee gave me the chance to present a one-hour program on 106.1 FM, representing General Hospital Ikorodu, discussing mental health topics. - **Coordination and Organizational Skills**: As the secretary of the World Food Day Committee for my department, I was responsible for coordinating efforts across 28 hospitals, writing proposals, attracting sponsors, and ensuring clear communication. - **Financial Management**: Handling fund collection for the World Food Day program, ensuring accurate accounting and transparency, and resolving any discrepancies. Read the part 2 for the conclusion & drop a comment.

Reflection: Farmer assistant: I used to work as a temporary worker at a farm, with the main job being weeding and digging soil. After finishing, I received a comment from my boss that I was often distracted and left work to talk to others (I often receive instructions from the manager and have to repeat them to other Vietnamese workers, so this is legitimate?). I learned a lesson: I should ask about what to do and restrictions before starting, and look for tips on what to do online (until now I knew about Reddit). Hotel housekeeper: I trained at a small motel. On the third day, the owner told me I was working too slow. At the end of the 5th day, the owner said he would not accept me as an official job because many customers were coming but the speed did not meet the requirements. I really want to argue that first I want to do the process correctly from start to finish, then increase the speed. But in the end I didn't say anything because I did not want to talk back to others. My brother said that I just need to be quick, let them fix it if it's right or wrong. What do you think? #reflection #hotel #farm #work #comment #speed

Professional Resume Writer | Crafting Tailored, Impactful Resumes to Help You Stand Out to Recruiters and Hiring Managers
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Experience is experience! Skills are skills! It shouldn't matter what industry it came from. Let me give an example. I used to work for the Food and Nutrition Service, the agency that runs Food Stamps/SNAP, School Lunch/Breakfast, WIC, and other food assistance programs. I was in the research, analysis, and evaluation department of the agency. At one point, we hired someone away from....wait for it...The Post Office. Yep. In terms of industry, The Post Office is about the complete opposite of the Food and Nutrition Service. But guess what? The employee worked out just fine. Yes, he had to learn about our programs. But that's the easy part. He came with the necessary skills and experience in research and evaluation. Which is what mattered most. So I'll say it again...experience is experience and skills are skills!!! And those skills and experiences can be applied to a wide range of industries...
