#day303 From zero to 1.8 lakh customers in 10 months at Phurr. People often ask me what our USP is, and I have no simple answer for it. With Phurr, we didn’t just want to open another restaurant. We wanted to build an experience people couldn’t stop talking about. Here’s how we did it: 📍We niched down hard: We went all-in on vegetarian cuisine. Not just any vegetarian food—we made it unforgettable. Lesson? Don’t try to be everything to everyone. Pick your lane and dominate it. 📍We made our food a social media event: Our Phurrrr (Lucknow Malaiyo) is all over Instagram—not by accident. We designed it to be shared. Create at least one visually stunning dish. It’s free marketing. 📍We started the experience in the queue: This one was an afterthought. When the place was full, and customers were waiting to dine in, we placed water bottles outside for them. It’s simple, but it shows that we care. The experience starts before they sit down. What can you do to make waiting less painful? 📍We’re obsessive about consistency: 600+ reservations daily, and the food quality never dips. How? We’re relentless about training and standardizing processes. No shortcuts. If a dish is ever sent back, it’s because our team found a fault before it reached the customer’s table. What moved the needle: 📌 We cut the dead weight and doubled down on what worked 📌 Weekly staff training on customer experience—it’s repetitive but necessary 📌 That water bottle ritual—a small touch with a big impact 📌 Creating 'Instagrammable' dishes and mocktails Result? 1.8 lakh customers in 10 months, and we’re just getting started.
