Lightweight Composites - Integrated Thermoplastic Process with Minimal
The Engel organomelt process shapes and functionalizes thermoplastic fiber composite semi-finished products, such as organic sheet and UD tapes, in a single integrated process step. Immediately after molding, thermoplastic plastics from the organic sheet matrix material group are injected into the same mold for reinforcement or assembly components. This process not only achieves highly efficient, fully automated production but also contributes to the circular economy. The consistent thermoplastic single-material approach simplifies the subsequent recycling of components. The Engel victory 660/160 injection molding machine, equipped with the Engel easix articulated robot, automates the production of inspection flaps for aircraft fuselages. The production unit also includes an infrared oven, developed and manufactured by Engel. The organic sheets are heated in the infrared oven, placed in the mold by a robot arm, molded in the mold, and then immediately overmolded. Reinforcing ribs and assembly clips are also formed.

We’ve been spotlighted in an article on the AGF.nl (Part of Fresh Publishers) platform. 👏🏻
A snippet from the article: Qarry was born at the Automotive Campus in Helmond and is backed by a team of automotive engineers. With abundant technical expertise and innovations, reliability is paramount for us," says Lorenzo. "We haven't cut corners in production to save costs because reliability is our top priority."

One of the great innovators in road safety Nils Bohlin invented the 3 point seat belt whilst working for Volvo, they generously opened the patent to every vehicle manufacturer at no cost as it had more value as a life saving tool.
So I have this Dilemma - Seat belts are designed to protect you in the event of a collision and I developed Viz-Ovalz® Direct Vizion System to prevent the collision happening in the first place, The data shows that road deaths cost the UK economy £40 Bn - 1 life = £2m. Saving Lives is surely everyones priority.
The Transport for London statistics show that over the 3 years, 2015 to 2018, HGVs were involved in 20% of pedestrian fatalities and over 70% of cyclist fatalities in London. The major contributory factor in these collisions is "Failed to See"
"These vehicles are not fit for purpose" if this was a train or plane they would be removed from service or grounded, but with vehicles we just accept it.
The research demonstrates strong backing for enhanced visibility, with 91% of people polled acknowledging its pivotal role in safeguarding vulnerable road users.
As a former Professional HGV driver dealing with the Blind Spot problem on a daily basis I felt compelled to develop a retrofittable solution.
The Viz-Ovalz® Direct Vision System introduces a revolutionary approach to road safety technology, Its primary goal is to alleviate the persistent issue of blind spots that have posed significant risks to drivers operating larger vehicles, and have endangered pedestrians, cyclists, and other vulnerable road users (VRUs).
This groundbreaking sensor system enables drivers to detect pedestrians, cyclists, and VRUs that were previously concealed within their blind spots. Leveraging government-tested lens technology,
Drivers trialling the Viz-Ovalz® Direct Vizion System prototypes have unanimously provided 100% positive feedback, emphasising the lenses' value as an early warning system rather than the traditional sensor and camera systems.
Furthermore, insurance companies, acknowledging that their largest claims stem from 'Failed to See' collisions, have expressed keen interest in our Lens Technology. They anticipate a reduction of these claims, indicating significant market interest and potential adoption in the commercial sector.
I need your help, wether its Funding, sharing Social Media posts, please let's work together to make the roads safer for everyone so that we can get the production up and running, to start saving lives and preventing collisions caused by the vehicle design fault. The Blind Spots

This is Nils Bohlin, a Swedish engineer who worked for Volvo.
In 1959 he invented the 3 point seat belt.
Rather then profit from the invention, Volvo opened up the patent for other manufacturers for no cost, saying "it had more value as a free life saving tool, then something to be profited from."
The invention has been credited with saving at least a million lives worldwide!
I luv learning new things on a daily basis. How’s this, in 1959 an engineer working for Volvo invented the 3 point seat belt. It was subsequently Patented but rather than try and profit from the invention, Volvo open it up for all other manufacturers to use at no cost, stating it had more value as a life saving tool than something to be profited from.
The likelihood we will ever see this type of non commercial forward thinking again is fairly remote.

Due to the trend of automotive lightweighting and the focus on topics such as "plastic instead of steel," JZT, known for its precision plastic gears and other precision injection molding parts, has garnered attention in the market. Their main products, including automotive precision plastic gears and other precision injection molding parts, are well-regarded in China.
One of their notable products is the high-strength automotive wiper system precision injection molded gear. It utilizes a new type of plastic with lower density and undergoes special structural treatment, resulting in gears that are not only lightweight and high-precision but also have a longer lifespan and higher strength. These high-precision gears are crucial components of the automotive transmission system, typically found in the wiper system under the car's bonnet.
Through continuous research and development along with technological innovation, JZT has developed a range of high-quality, high-performance lightweight parts. This includes precision injection-molded gears and high-strength engineering plastics for accelerator parts, all of which meet the demands of well-known automobile brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and GM. Additionally, their products are used in new energy vehicles like Tesla, BYD, RISO, Azure, and Xiaopeng, showcasing their versatility and relevance in the evolving automotive industry.

We are excited to share with you that this morning the official ground-breaking ceremony for our expansion project of our plant in Stans was held.
We are creating 1,700 square metres of additional space for for a highly innovative new production line. With an investment of 15 million euros we are not only showing our commitment to our high-tech plants in Austria, but also looking to the future of manufacturing.
New standards and regulations, especially in the automotive industry require new tools and new highly innovative production processes. Hard-coated brake discs, already found in the e-mobility industry will become the new overall standard and require grinding tools. As of autumn 2024 we are ramping up production in Stans with a new and fully automated production line.
Mayor of Stans, Michael Huber and Barbara Thaler, President of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce were our guests at the ceremony and welcomed the exciting project for the local community as well as the Tyrolian economy.
