COURSE 👨🎓 Degrowth and socioecological justice across disciplines at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen In this discussion-based course, we will focus on different dimensions of the multiple crises, and on the #degrowth and #postgrowth approaches to tackle them. We begin with a primer into degrowth thinking covering key terms & principles, as well as common misunderstandings. Then turn to focus on a range of topics that present paths to socio-ecological justice, including cultural #transformation, #extractivism in the #Global South, global health and inequality, food security, democratic paths to degrowth and the role of academia, to name a few. Faculty members from each of the six faculties at UCPH will host different sessions. How do you contextualuze theological education? Pathways for Tomorrow grantees are exploring many different approaches. One of the more unique ones is United Theologucal Seminary’s Houses of Study.

There are so many first-gen students from various marginalized and underserved communities. After interviewing 15 DACA students for my dissertation research, many of the statements below emerged as themes that required a high level of persistence and resilience. We not only need to increase the efficacy and organizational footprint of currently established systems/models of support for first-gen students that are working, but also adapt more culturally robust models of support for first-gen students from diverse communities and and backgrounds. Additionally, it’s critical these models/systems of support include post-secondary educational professionals who are first-gen themselves and/or have expertise, insight, and a fundamental understanding of successful models of support and the structural barriers first-gen students experience when pursuing higher education.

The administration’s response was that it keeps the data inside the university buildings only, and there is no electronic storage system to retain the data. The response was neither logical nor institutional, as we are in the 21st century and all educational institutions, even modern ones, keep a copy of the data of graduates and students because of its importance and the future it holds for thousands. Graduates: This statement caused a lot of panic among students and graduates The administration also refused to listen to any solutions offered by the graduates to get out of this impasse, stating that this matter will not be decided until The war ends!! ... Which resulted in a disruption for them to catch up with their peers in exams, fellowships, and studies And grants and make their future unknown. We hope that the matter resonates with the administration and that it will be communicated with those who are interested To get out of this dark tunnel. #Sudan #students #NRU #graduate

With all gone past and agonies, the restless days and much more have finally lead to the day where the moments of worthy praise comes along..!! The pain and soreness of meagre support have finally come to an end... Research is really a hard pace journey of restless neurological fight of thoughts to lend peacefully at the most speculative idea on which one can stretch the platform to be a vesratile pedagogue. Through my PhD journey, I came across a one more revealation that the journey and the road to this high eminent education is not that too much rough, yet its a part of rolling stocks to make us learn as how our appearance for any subject can bring out the more excruciatingly novel ideas. I feel that only major part is a support and a little assistance of institutional regiment, can make the student feel more enjoyabletowards the journey, thereby to safeguard the memories, throughout the life. After, all the learnigs and thoughtfull attempts to beat all odds, finally I have successfully defended my #PhD Thesis, on: #Technology & #InnovationPolicy and how #MachineLearning can aid strengthened #PolicyMaking.
