Progress update from Nenagh Ormond RFC in Tipperary where we are currently constructing 2 no. artificial grass pitches. 1️⃣ 9,000 sq/m artificial grass pitch to replace the existing grass field 2️⃣ 50m x 40m artificial grass training pitch   ✅ Cut and fill complete on the main pitch, with drainage works underway ✅ Topsoil has been stripped from the training pitch.    One of the biggest advantages of converting from a grass field to an artificial turf playing surface is that that all club members will be able to play rugby all year round. No more worrying about muddy fields or weather-related cancellations. Rain or shine, teams will be out there practicing and playing. Today, I want to recommend an artificial turf for football field that is superior in cost-effectiveness, which is sand-free. Compared with ordinary football turf, it has the following advantages: 1, the weight of single straight yarn exceeds 1500D. As we all know, the thicker the single yarn is, the more wear-resistant it is. 2, the weight of single crimped yarn exceeds 600D. The heavier the crimped yarn is, the better it can protect the root of the turf, making it less prone to breakage. Meanwhile, it increases elasticity and improves the feeling of foot touch. 3, after the turf is paved, you only need to add a little rubber particles, which greatly saves the paving time. However, there is one thing that needs attention: because the turf is too heavy, you need to use PU AB glue to splice the turf, otherwise it is prone to problems in later use.
