Conspiracy theories once confined to fringe platforms like 4chan are now seeping into mainstream political discourse, seen most recently in a debunked Facebook rumor about Haitian immigrants eating dogs being repeated in a nationally televised presidential debate. The rise of AI-generated content, reduced moderation on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook, and unchecked #misinformation has accelerated the spread of falsehoods. As platforms struggle or give up on fighting mis- and #disinformation altogether, those who are most willing to spread them continue to leverage this chaos, deepening the crisis of trust in online spaces.

What’s scarier than death, snakes and taxes?
Public speaking.
More than 75% of people dread the idea of speaking in public. A phobia known as glossophobia.
But no matter who we are, we all have to do it. When you’re addressing your kid’s soccer team before a game. When you’re leading a pivotal client presentation. When you’re making a TikTok video. On the field, stage or camera, you are the focus of attention.
Here are 5 tips to help you survive—and shine—the next time you speak in public.

The dysfunctionality of the #justicesystem can have far-reaching and devastating consequences for a #community, especially when it comes to cases of #child abuse. Failures to properly investigate, prosecute, and punish such heinous crimes can send a message to perpetrators that they may evade justice, potentially leading to more incidents of abuse.
This type of systemic failure is a serious alarm that should draw the attention of the main stream #Media and #regulatory#bodies. Shining a light on the negligence and lack of strong #legal#recourse can be an important step towards reform. Ensuring there are robust #laws, #policies, and enforcement mechanisms to protect #vulnerable children like #heaven is critical.
The absence of appropriate punishments for these crimes not only fails the victims, but also represents a #missed#opportunity to deter would-be offenders. Strengthening the justice system's response is essential to sending a clear message that such abhorrent acts will be met with the full force of the law or #communities will be forced to take #measures on #crminals of such event.
Ultimately, addressing the root causes of these failures and instituting meaningful change is crucial to preventing future tragedies and upholding the safety and wellbeing of all children in the community.

Why Racism Is The Winner If You Only Like And Comment
A week ago social influencer
Thomas Hal Robson-Kanu with 74,439 followers wrote a post
following a (yet another) ugly racial incident incident that occurred in a football match (this time a La Liga game).
Thomas said “To allow a player to experience this level of abuse and hate without fundamental repercussions to those throwing the abuse is disgraceful.”
The post got 1613 likes and 184 comments, the result of which is meaningless if there is no action that occurs to remedy or at least attempt to remedy the issue. Does the solution lie with FIFA or UEFA or La Liga or by sponsors “doing something” as some suggest? The answer is no.
The solution lies with the likers and those that comment doing something, but did any of them do anything more after their voice was heard on LinkedIn? And what did Thomas do after he lead the discussion?
So to all of you I suggest you figure out a plan as to what you can do and try it out. Even if you fail, you at least did more than check a box.
My solution was a song that people could sing to condemn racist behavior. Maybe it’s a bad idea, but at least I’m trying to do that something that is needed. So here it is again. Not the most beautiful or riveting song, but the message is clear: Racists suck and they should be condemned by the good people.
And while you’re at it, for those in the UK, go see Kev Crane singing this song on his pub tour. It’s a great follow up to casting your like.
