Paperless into the future – we are on the way! 🚀 20 million delivery notes are processed and printed out every year in Germany in the food trade alone. With multiple copies, that's 180 million sheets of paper, which is the equivalent of around 1,500 trees. 🌳 But there is another way! 🌟 Steffen Riedel, Head of Logistics at Eckes-Granini Germany, presented the advantages of a digital solution at the VLB Berlin 25. VLB-Logistikfachkongress „Trends in der Getränkelogistik”. 📳 And these are manifold: The introduction of the digital delivery note, which Eckes-Granini Germany has driven forward together with GS1 Germany GmbH, significantly simplifies the processes involved in handling incoming and outgoing goods. How does this work? The cloud solution "Cloud4Log" allows lorry drivers as well as office and warehouse staff to work with the same data in real time and speeds up the order-to-cash process. This solution not only avoids errors caused by transferring data from paper to IT systems, but also eliminates language barriers between employees, for example. And best of all: all data is in one place, so that complete and traceable documentation is possible. 🔄 We are delighted to have worked with GS1 to make managing the supply chain easier and more environmentally friendly. 🎯 And to put it in Steffen's words: Make paperless trade happen! 💪 #EckesGranini #Innovation #Sustainability

Highly recommendable: Easy download to the truck drivers mobile phone wallet, multiple languages supported at the barcode terminal. Simple, robust and efficient.
