The Global Coalition for Evidence will be launched on the 13th of September during the second Global Evidence Summit in Prague: https://lnkd.in/dA-qJusw. Three main elements support the Coalition's strategy: 1. Encourage Collaboration: The Coalition will maximise the effect of evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) players by fostering complementary capabilities through information exchange, capacity building, and shared priority setting. 2. Boost Coordination: To formalise #EIDM and ensure that international initiatives are complementary rather than redundant, the Coalition will try to bring stakeholders together around a common objective. 3. Encourage Consolidation: To improve the quality and uniformity of the #evidence used in health decision-making and to lessen fragmentation, efforts will be made to integrate norms, standards, and procedures throughout the evidence ecosystem. All interested institutions and organisations are invited to join this revolutionary movement, particularly those engaged in knowledge creation, translation, and utilisation. Last week during the European Research & Innovation Days, the "Dashboard of initiatives" of the European Union and African Union Innovation agenda was launched. Through the newly launched Dashboard, projects, programmes, and partnerships actively contribute to the EU-AU agenda.
