At eClinical our mission to help bring new treatments to patients faster has always been our reason for helping biopharma more easily manage the data of clinical trials. As a team we aim to frequently remind ourselves of this "why." When the day-to-day gets busy and the work is deep in tech and data, this mission is the touchstone. However nothing calls us back to this "why" more than what happened today - a direct connection to the patient experience from someone who has been there, is there, and is passionately advocating for trial design and execution that reduces patient burden and improves the experience. Thank you, Stacy, for your openness and critical reminders. The more we collectively understand the lived experience of the people waiting for life-changing therapies, the more we can actively consider our individual role in this mission - and impact change.
