Despite the current limitations of generative AIs, they cannot be directly used to develop a model (like a traffic simulation) on their own, they can still serve as valuable tools to assist modelers. For example, I asked ChatGPT-4 to create a diagram outlining the steps for developing a traffic simulation model in SUMO, and it crafted this image! As you can see, the diagram effectively illustrates the scientific and operational steps involved. It leads to an intriguing question: How far can tools like ChatGPT advance? Could they eventually be used to directly create model files?

One of the challenges with ChatGPT, Llama-2, etc; lies in the end product. The format and consistency of their responses are good for human, bad for machines. That’s one of the biggest things we are solving at Datastreamer with UnifyAI. An LLM designed for machine consumption of data.

Very interesting thought. What is creativity? I think the problem is that we are trying so hard to validate/test/challenge AI (whatever your preferred model is) on something it created on its own by comparing this with what we do as humans. I do believe that the incorrect approach. I don't think I have ever created something with AI that I didn't want to tweak, change, ... into something that is more like something I would do or say. The end result is always something that is better than I would have been able to do on my own. And that is for me the bar. #AI #Education #Learning #Creativity
Can ChatGPT be ‘creative’? I get this question a lot. The argument goes: ChatGPT is just regurgitating data it already has, it can’t come up with anything new. This logic baffles me.

A few provocative notions here. ChatGPT 5 will encompass System 2 thinking and in the near term this ability can be created with multi agent models. N heads are better than one! Michael Anton Dila https://lnkd.in/gs-vRGpm
