Over the past several months, Ecoclime Africa has been developing our digital marketing solution, "Greenance," designed to bridge the gap between investing in and verifying green projects. Spearheaded by Samuel Osei-Amponsah and Essiel Justice, the project recently earned first place in the UNICEF Ghana and MEST Africa Digital Public Goods Competition!🤯🤩 Such wins are both inspirational and motivating for the team at EA and beyond as we work daily towards driving sustainable development goals. 🚀 𝐖𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐈𝐭! 🚀 I’m thrilled to announce that our maiden product, Greenance, placed first in the Digital Public Goods Competition on the 31st of July, 2024. This achievement marks a critical step towards making Ecoclime Africa a recognized digital public good. The Digital Public Goods Alliance is a multi-stakeholder initiative that accelerates the attainment of the sustainable development goals by facilitating the discovery, development, use of, and investment in digital public goods. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our amazing team at Ecoclime Africa. Special thanks to Essiel Justice, my co-founder and CTO. A huge thank you to MEST Africa and UNICEF Ghana for this incredible opportunity, and a special shoutout to Nathan Fletcher for his invaluable support.
