Strengthening Our Partnerships with #ESEIAMembers We are thrilled to share the highlights from our recent online meeting with Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences held this month. This engaging session allowed us to present our current proposals and provide updates on our ongoing projects. Key collaboration areas discussed included involvement in conferences, participation in future #HorizonEurope proposals, and engagement in forthcoming #ESEIA activities, especially involving more members from #XAMK in the #ESEIAWorkingGroups. XAMK's broad focus areas align seamlessly with several of ESEIA’s focus areas, particularly WG2 Energy Transition in Urban Regions, providing a strong foundation for collaborative effort. Special thanks to @Sirpa Rahiala and @Turo Laine from Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, and Brigitte Hasewend and Zina MEJBRI from #ESEIA for their valuable contributions. Today, SISSA had the occasion to participate in a press conference organized by Università degli Studi di Trieste to showcase the results of the first round of Cascade Calls promoted by iNEST - Ecosistema dell'Innovazione del Nord Est, funded by the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience (PNRR), and to present the latest round of Calls funded by SISSA and the University of Trieste. 🎯 The goal of iNEST Cascade Calls is to support Micro, Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises working on research, development, and technology transfer initiatives in the Triveneto and Mezzogiorno regions. 🔍 Our Head of Valorisation and Innovation Office, Dr. Rene Butto, focused on Cascade Calls funded by SISSA, leader of iNEST Spoke 9. These Calls are dedicated to developing #DigitalTwins applied to different fields, such as infrastructures, resource management, industry, and the environment.

📌 This week, ESIRA Project partners came together online for a dynamic meeting with ambitious plans for the months ahead. The meeting was productive, focusing on evaluating progress and future initiatives. 👉 To date, the ESIRA team has successfully established three Multi-Actor Platforms (MAPs), setting the stage for new collaborative actions. 📅 Next months promise even more excitement with the anticipated launch of new MAPs and the continuation of vital activities on the existing ones.
