I’ve seen firsthand the impressive “Ability to Execute” of Windows 365 in the field. It’s undoubtedly one of Microsoft’s best Quick Wins, offering a seamless virtualization solution that doesn’t require an expensive skillset to manage. However, I believe our focus should now shift to the “Completeness of Vision.” With Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft provides the most sustainable and reliable virtualization solutions, backed by a robust roadmap. Every customer we introduce to Windows 365 experiences that “Aha moment” when they realize they’re witnessing the Next Generation of Windows. On a personal note, I absolutely love using the new Windows App with Windows 365 on my iPad! #Windows365 #AVD #Virtualization
If there are still any questions on which company has the best solution for running Windows in the cloud, check out the recently published 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Desktop as a Service (DaaS). Microsoft is again positioned as the leader with the highest ranking in completeness of vision and ability to execute. This year’s ranking also shows Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop distancing themselves further in vision and execution compared to all other vendors in the DaaS market.

Not surprised to see such a huge shift in the magic quadrant in the past year. In my opinion the simplicity of W365 is what stands out. Platform owners no longer want to own and manage complex environments that accumulate technical debt.

I lived to see for the last decade how #Microsoft has evolved its virtualization solutions since Hyper-v 2012 and 2012 R2, when it started to become competitive! And today where it is way far ahead against top and respectable players in the market of #DaaS! It is all about vision and execution of that vision! #Azure #Avd #Windows365
