❗𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗠 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧: 𝗦𝗜𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗣❗ Hello Everyone, I want to share a recent experience to alert you all about a company called SIECORP, which appears to be operating in a concerning way. Surprisingly, Naukri.com seems to be associated with this and may be inadvertently helping in a potential scam. Here’s what happened: I received a call directly from a Naukri representative, offering to forward my CV to SIECORP . Soon after, I started receiving calls from their HR team for various interview rounds. They mentioned a technical virtual round but ended up conducting it via phone, where the HR asked technical questions, claiming the recording would be reviewed by their technical team. It felt unusual and unprofessional, as no actual technical panel was involved. After the call, they said the "technical team" was impressed with my responses. Red flags started appearing when they agreed to any hypothetical high package I proposed and described employee-friendly benefits that sounded almost too good to be true. They even promised a 25% salary increase on top after six months based on performance. Additionally, they offered me a location in my hometown, Kolkata. To add to the urgency, they asked me to submit all my documents within two days to “finalize” the offer letter. When I expressed a desire to verify the company’s authenticity by visiting their Kolkata office to submit documents in person, the HR started backtracking. They mentioned I would work from home but would need to travel weekly to their head office in Gujarat by train, claiming they had no office in Kolkata – directly contradicting their previous statements. It's disheartening to see reputed job platforms like Naukri.com potentially involved in such activities. Please stay alert and do thorough checks before proceeding with any offers that seem overly promising. Let’s support each other by spreading awareness about such practices.
